The website is up! While it is very, very cool that it’s possible to DIY (Do It Yourself) it does take a lot of work. But I must say, it has been empowering to learn about how websites work. Since quiting my day job at the end of January, I’ve learned a lot about the web 2.0. I’m still learning, so there will be a lot of building onto the website. By the end of the website project (about 2 -3 weeks) I’ve learned basic HTML. Because I’m not a web designer, I realize that I used an older style of design, opposed to more pure CSS. There’s a link to consideringdemocracy’s del.icio.us site. I used it to bookmark sites to help me to better understand the world of technology. It’s basic CSS and other ‘just learning about technology’ websites.
The main website for for the film has many resources to find groups to work with, or to get more information about various topics. Let me know what you think.
Cheers!
