With hindsight, the idea of booking a nationwide screening tour – and driving to the screenings one after another was slightly insane. (I slept in my car at truck stops, experienced the kindness of strangers and was subjected to the hurricane emotion and madness of preelection fevor. I suppose it could also be seen as devoted, driven and wickedly patriotic. I often drove 7 – 9 hours per day between the screenings.) As a result, the film screened before audiences, which in turn created awareness about the issues in Considering Democracy.
Here is a map of the screening tour for the film. Sunny icon = Screening. Red pin = Review.
Note on the map: If you click on links from within the map, it will take you to the new page. If you click on ‘View Larger Map’ link under the map, it takes you to a larger map page and loads the links in a new window. That way, links can be checked out, but the map also stays open. I’m not sure why this is, and I wish I knew more code. If anyone knows why this is, please email me here.
